Committee T1 – Telecommunications Title: the Effects of Spectrally Compatible Non-stationary Interference vs. Random Non-stationary Interference Found in Twisted Pair High Speed Access Environments

چکیده
This paper addresses some primary performance impacts of non-stationary noise on DSL systems. First, this paper points out some erroneous assumptions used in “Selected Measurement on Non-Stationary and Stationary Crosstalk Effects upon FDM ADSL” [1]. Additionally, a description is given of how the burst nature of EtherLoop allows the modem to continue to operate in the presence of wideband burst interference from such sources as triac light dimmers and vacuum cleaners, that can be found on existing home wiring. The impact of such wideband interference will present a more severe source of burst interference to G.Lite modems operating over existing home wiring than the burst FEXT that will result from an EtherLoop modem running with the constraints imposed by the spectrum manager feature of the modem Non-stationary services with transmit PSD’s that are spectrally compatible with other services should be included in the ANSI spectral compatibilty document.

Adaptive Thresholding in Marine RADARs
In order to detect targets upon sea surface or near it, marine radars should be capable of distinguishing signals of target reflections from the sea clutter. Our proposed method in this paper relates to detection of dissimilar marine targets in an inhomogeneous environment with clutter and non-stationary noises, and is based on adaptive thresholding determination methods. The variance and t...

MIMO OFDMA system is used for high data rate services in wireless communication networks. Here multi cell systems developed based on broadband wireless standards such as Wi-MAX and 3GPP LTE. Beam forming systems with Coordinated Scenario is used for mitigation of stationary interference and Diversity model with Randomized interference is used for Non-Stationary interference. The analytical fram...
متن کاملThe Time Adaptive Self Organizing Map for Distribution Estimation
The feature map represented by the set of weight vectors of the basic SOM (Self-Organizing Map) provides a good approximation to the input space from which the sample vectors come. But the timedecreasing learning rate and neighborhood function of the basic SOM algorithm reduce its capability to adapt weights for a varied environment. In dealing with non-stationary input distributions and changi...

Determination of mobile localization with time of arrival (TOA) signal is a requirement in cellular mobile communication. In some of the previous methods, localization with non-line-of-sight (NLOS) paths can lead to large position error. Also for simplicity, in most simulations suppose non stationary actual environments as stationary. This paper proposes (residual test + recursive least square)...
متن کاملApplication of Non-Linear Functions at Distribution of Output SINR Gaussian Interference Channels
We have examined the convergence behavior of the LSCMA in some simple environments. Algorithms such as Multi¬ Target CMA, Multistage CMA, and Iterative Least Squares with Projection can be used for this purpose. The results presented here can form a basis for analysis of these multi-signal extraction techniques. Clearly, the variance and distribution of output SINR obtained with the LSCMA is al...
